Enrolment Policies
This guide explains important enrolment policies on absences, leave outside Australia, reducing or withdrawing days, terminating care, and casual days.

Absences and Public Holidays
- Fees are payable for absent days and public holidays.
- The Government will cover your CCS for up to 42 absence days.
- The service closes for 1 to 2 weeks across the Christmas break. No fees are charged during this period.
More information can be found at Services Australia.

Travel outside Australia
- If you travel outside Australia for more than 6 weeks, your CCS will stop.
- If your subsidy stops while you're overseas, you will need to contact Centrelink on your return to have your CCS entitlements reinstated.
More information can be found at Services Australia.

Adding and Reducing Days
- To reduce days, notice in writing must be sent to the service email address.
ACT services require 8 weeks' notice
NSW services required 4 weeks' notice
- To request additional days, notice in writing must be sent to the service email address. You will gain priority as an existing family and notified when a vacancy arises.

Terminating Care
If your child is leaving for primary school, or there has been a change in family circumstances, you will need to terminate your care.
- Notice in writing must be sent to the service email address.
ACT services require 8 weeks' notice
NSW services required 4 weeks' notice
- The last day we will accept withdrawal is 1 November. It is difficult to replace a child in the last few weeks of the year.
- If you do not attend on your last day(s) of care, Centrelink will not pay CCS for this period.

Casual Days
- Casual days can be booked via our parent app, Xplor Home.
- If your child does not attend their booked casual day, you will be charged for the booking.
- Casual days can only be booked 2 weeks in advance. If you need to add a permanent additional day, please contact the service directly.
